Job summary

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) at Baylor Scott & White Health is a licensed professional responsible for circulating, sedating, and monitoring patients during cardiac procedures in the Heart Hospital, McKinney, TX. The role requires two years of cath/EP lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and the ability to stand for extended periods in lead protection.

Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility and participate in call expectations; shift is PRN with day hours (7:00am–5:30pm).

Qualifications

• RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years Cath or EP Lab experience.
• Must reside within 30 minutes of facility and be able to stand in lead for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Circulate during Cath/Lab procedures and monitor patient status.
• Sedate and assist with patient care during interventions.
• Coordinate care per the Texas Nursing Practice Act and nurse practice standards.
