Job summary

Levy Restaurants at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC seeks a Catering Supervisor to assist in daily operations of the Catering department for NBA games, concerts, and internal/external events. You will coordinate the catering team schedules to ensure timely service, setup, and breakdown under the Catering Manager's supervision.

You will lead by example, ensuring excellent guest service, accurate menu knowledge, and adherence to Levy's food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Determines workload requirements from catering orders.
• Meets with functions group leaders to discuss setup arrangements; addresses last-minute changes and resolves problems.
• Interacts with guests and resolves client feedback in a service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items.
• Instructs team members on work expectations for catered functions.
• Helps team members set up rooms to desired specifications.
• Assembles and delivers F&B items to scheduled locations.
• Assists with serving food and beverages to guests as needed
• Breaks down food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering department.
• Confirms proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows Levy's Food and Safety standards.
• Ensures proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
• Displays a positive attitude towards team members.
• Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook.
• Demonstrate physical stamina/agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50lbs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
