Bentley University in Waltham, MA seeks a Catering Sous Chef to lead a dynamic culinary team and deliver exceptional dining and event experiences for students, faculty, staff, and guests. You will work closely with a culinary team, creating high-quality menus, executing memorable catered events, and inspiring kitchen associates through hands-on leadership.

You will oversee daily catering operations, develop menus, manage inventory, and ensure food safety and quality standards while driving cost

Qualifications

5+ years of culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Experience in high-volume foodservice, catering, restaurants, hotels, higher education, healthcare, or corporate dining.
Strong knowledge of food trends, production, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
Proven leadership, training, and team development skills.
ServSafe certification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Culinary degree preferred.
