**Job Description**

Responsible for supervising, training, and managing the food service operation. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

**Long Description**

**COMPENSATION:** The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production records if needed.
2. Direct daily activities.
3. Maintain food production to ensure safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department standards.
4. Ensure food items are stored safely, organized, and hazard-free.
5. Maintain serving schedules; ensure all food is served per menu specifications safely and appropriately.
6. Maintain a sanitary department adhering to health and safety regulations.
7. Keep accurate inventory records weekly, following departmental policies.
8. Prepare orders from vendors as needed to ensure proper production levels.
9. Operate an efficient, cost-effective program.
10. Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.

**Qualifications**

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course within the first year as a lead.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Resolve interpersonal situations effectively.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and/or PPE may be required.
