Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an entry-level Catering Support role to set up and deliver requested catering services at on-site locations and conferences in Southern California. You will provide prompt, courteous service, explain menu items, and ensure clean-up and orderly presentation of food and beverages.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, 0–1 year of related experience, and a CA CDL Class C license. Knowledge of basic food safety is a plus and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of related work experience.
• Valid CDL Class C driver’s license (CA) required.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill catering orders, review requests, and coordinate delivery timing.
• Communicate with food departments and ensure setup of services.
• Deliver food and beverages, set up professionally with needed wares.
• Explain menu items and make recommendations to customers.
• Ensure cleanup after events and arrange rentals or linens if needed.
• Assist with stock, supplies, and dishwashing as required.
• Attend safety trainings and follow policies and risk procedures.
