Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Catering Server to provide guest service at venue dining areas during catered functions. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years’ experience as a server in a fine dining, large-scale dining facility, or similar field preferred.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Read and comprehend Banquet Event Orders when setting up guest events with proper linen, dishware, glassware, and flatware, as well as execute banquet service on the contracted event menu & event timeline.
• Responsible for serving meals to guests or replenishing food for buffet service.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages. Must check guest’s ID per state/federal regulations to verify minimum age for alcohol.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Replenish salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiments, and napkins as needed.
• Replace tableware and linens during events or room turnover as needed.
• Maintain a clear and organized workspace.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Position Summary

The Catering Server is responsible for serving guests in the venue dining areas at catered functions. The Catering Server must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$18.00
