The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for calling on past and future social and corporate food and beverage accounts, following up on new leads, and assisting with the continued sales growth of the Catering Department. Ensures all events are set properly and guests are satisfied with arrangements. Also responsible for outside sales calls.
Regular attendance as per Hilton standards is essential. Due to the cyclical nature of hospitality, varying schedules, including holidays, may be required. Hotel rules will be enforced, with disciplinary actions for violations.
Performs additional tasks such as answering phones, maintaining communication with departments, and assisting in budget preparation, as directed by the supervisor.
Must possess excellent guest relations, supervisory, and communication skills. Understands meeting room capacities and configurations.
High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Equivalent education or experience may be considered.
Minimum two years of catering sales experience in a hotel preferred.
None required.
Employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
