Café Momentum Atlanta is looking for a driven Catering Sales Manager who loves the hunt as much as the close. This is first and foremost a sales role in a fast-paced restaurant and nonprofit setting. You will grow catering and event revenue from prospecting through execution, building a robust pipeline and securing new business.

You may come from catering, hospitality, restaurants, or outside sales. If you are a hunter who thrives on winning new business and driving revenue, this is your role.

Café Momentum Atlanta is looking for a driven, proactive Catering Sales Manager who loves the hunt as much as the close.

This is first and foremost a sales role.

We are looking for someone who wakes up thinking about where the next piece of business is coming from—someone who builds relationships, works a pipeline, follows up relentlessly, asks for the business, and isn't content waiting for the phone to ring.

Restaurant and catering experience is valuable, but sales instinct, competitive drive, and the ability to create new business are what matter most. We can teach our restaurant, our systems, and our way of executing events. It is much harder to teach someone to be hungry to sell.

What You'll Own

You'll be responsible for growing catering and event revenue for Café Momentum Atlanta, from prospecting through the handoff and execution of the event.

That means:

• Actively prospecting for new catering and event business rather than relying primarily on inbound leads
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of corporate, nonprofit, social, community, and private-event opportunities
• Identifying target accounts and finding the right decision-makers
• Making calls, sending outreach, networking, visiting potential clients, and asking for referrals
• Responding quickly and strategically to inbound inquiries
• Conducting site tours and client meetings
• Developing proposals and closing business
• Consistently following up on open opportunities
• Growing repeat business and referrals from existing clients
• Maintaining an organized sales pipeline and providing clear revenue forecasts
• Partnering with restaurant leadership to ensure events are sold in a way the team can execute successfully
• Supporting event execution and serving as a Manager on Duty when needed

Experience

We'd love to see:

• Demonstrated success in sales, business development, catering sales, event sales, hospitality sales, or a similarly results-driven role
• A track record of generating new business, not solely managing inbound leads
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills
• Experience managing a sales pipeline or CRM
• Hospitality, restaurant, catering, or event experience is strongly preferred but not an absolute requirement
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event and restaurant needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and restaurant shifts.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout restaurant and event spaces.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment that may include heat, noise, and crowded spaces.
• Ability to use a computer, phone, and other standard office and restaurant equipment.
• Ability to travel locally for sales calls, networking events, client meetings, and off-site events.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business and event needs.
