Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality sales experience, ideally in restaurant or banquet settings.
• Structured sales training is a plus.
• Creative with strong sales and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent internal and external communication.
• Professional phone etiquette, writing skills, and MS Office proficiency.
• Well organized with strong follow-up capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain balance between account maintenance, prospecting for new business, and building profitable client relationships.
• Develop marketing plans and assist in annual sales budgeting with restaurant teams.
• Produce regular production and sales activity reports.
• Assist the Director of Sales with goals and strategies for assigned territories to grow revenue.
• Know the property layouts, menus, and capacity; review and update offerings to maximize revenue.
• Cross-sell with sister properties for referral business.
• Communicate strategic direction and goals for territories and markets.
• Maintain notes and traces for accounts in Delphi, join market organizations.
• Adhere to the Sundown Rule for client correspondence.
• Supervise banquet execution when needed.
