Job summary

Compass Group USA at Baylor University in Waco, TX is seeking a full-time Catering Sales Admin to support clerical and administrative tasks for food service programs.

The role requires prior admin/catering experience and excellent customer service. You will handle calls, staffing coordination, record keeping, invoicing, and monthly reconciliation while collaborating with school personnel and supervisors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
• Maintain confidential personnel files.
• Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents, including but not limited to proposed disciplinary notices.
• Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
• Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, student's parents and Supervisor.
• Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer.
• Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
• Process vendor invoices for payment - using computer, making sure addition is correct and checking item prices against bid specifications, making sure there is no discrepancy in pricing.
• Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
• Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
• Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.

• We are hiring immediately for full-time CATERING SALES ADMINpositions.
• Address: Baylor University - 1120 South 5th, Waco, TX 76706. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, shifts may vary. More details are available upon interview.
• Requirement: Must have previous admin/catering experience. Must have excellent customer service.
• Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

• Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
