Pig & Grits Catering in Burnsville, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Catering Prep Cook to support weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. You’ll prepare various menu items, follow recipes, portion portions, and help ensure timely, accurate orders.

Ideal candidates are dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Prior kitchen or prep experience is helpful but not required; great team players are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, sides, sauces, desserts, and other catering menu items.
• Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
• Portion and package food according to catering specifications.
• Assist with loading and organizing catering orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
• Help ensure all catering orders are complete, accurate, and ready on time.
• Work closely with kitchen leaders and the catering team.
• Assist with prep and production for both restaurant and catering operations when needed.
