Fly CHA in Jackson, Wyoming is seeking a Catering Prep Cook for our Tailwind catering team. This full-time role supports catering orders and events, preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring quality, and delivering friendly service to travelers.

The position includes an overnight shift from 7PM to 4AM with paid training and benefits. Must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality food products consistently for all catering orders by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
• Following prep lists created by the catering management team
• Measuring ingredients and seasonings
• Ensuring all food items are properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible for catering pickup
• Supervising food and cooling room temperatures
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment
• Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked
• Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies
• Interact with customers in a positive and upbeat manner
• Work with a team to provide the best possible experience for every catering order
• All other duties as assigned

About the Role:

If you're passionate about food and friendly service, then join the Tailwind team! We are searching for an enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our Catering department, helping provide delicious meals and excellent customer service for catering orders and events that create an amazing guest experience and a fun, inviting atmosphere for all travelers. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for catering orders, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet our customers' expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.

Full-time preferred; part-time may be available depending on scheduling needs.

Overnight shift from 7PM - 4AM

Qualifications/Skills:

• Accountability for the ingredients prepped measuring up to the expectations of management
• Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders and recipes, and to correctly prepare dishes to catering standards
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting, and dicing
• Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time, handle extreme heat, and work shifts
