Job summary

Eurest in Detroit, MI is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the Catering Department, training new associates and directing event setup, service, and breakdown. You will ensure excellent client service and manage labor and food costs for each event.

Responsibilities include menu collaboration with the Chef, staff training in service techniques, and maintaining strong client relationships to uphold Eurest's standards of quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience including 1 year in a management role.
• Catering experience is required; knowledge of food cost controls is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervises all catering events.
• Oversees event setup, logistics, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Works with the Chef to create menus and trains catering associates.
• Maintains client relationships and ensures service quality.
