Job summary

Prospectsonline is recruiting for a catering manager to lead a school catering service during term time, plus 10 days. The role involves coordinating staff, menus and outlets to deliver nutritious, well-received meals.

You will ensure compliance with standards, value for money and stakeholder satisfaction among students and staff. Closing date is 30 October 2026 with interviews in w/c 9 November 2026; Enhanced DBS will be required.

• Experience working with students and staff in a catering or school environment.

• Lead a catering team to deliver high quality catering across all outlets and required times.
• Evaluate provision against standards, value for money and satisfaction, adapting where needed.
• Prepare and contribute to events and after-school activities as required.

Salary: £28,207.00 - £30,141.00 Annually (Actual) £31,537-£33,699 FTE - pay award pending

Weeks Per Year: Term Time Only plus 10 days

• Working with students, staff and leading the catering team to develop a nutritious, well received and high quality catering offer across the school.
• Leading an effective catering team to deliver the above across all outlets and at all required times, in addition to supporting after school and external events.
• To constantly evaluate the impact of the current provision against legal standards, value for money and levels of satisfaction by students and staff, adapting where appropriate.
