Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Chef to manage a pod on Saturdays and Sundays at a secondary school in Bolton. The role focuses on preparing, cooking and presenting meals to high standards.

You will ensure food safety, health and safety procedures, and complete mandatory paperwork while supporting the location’s day-to-day operations and inventory control.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the food industry.
  • NVQ Level 2 in professional cooking is required.

Responsibilities

  • To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
  • Ensure all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Maintain Caterlink’s reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.
  • Support line manager with day-to-day running, inventories, budget monitoring and action plans.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef to amnage a pod on a Saturday and Sunday at a secondary in, Bolton.

The role:

  • £15.00 per hour
  • 12hours per week working Saturday & Sunday
  • Your key responsibilities will include:
  • To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
  • To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
  • To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
