Job summary

Bon Appetit at Emory University in Atlanta, GA seeks a full-time Catering Captain to coordinate catering staff and ensure timely delivery, service, and breakdown at functions. You may drive a truck to deliver food and beverages, under the Catering Director’s supervision.

Requirements include prior catering experience and willingness to train. A valid driver's license and applicable food handler or alcohol server permits may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service and clean-up.
• Assist in setting up rooms to match function specs and assist with load-in/load-out.
• Interact with customers and resolve issues professionally.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge to guests and staff.
• Instruct staff on work expectations for catered events.
