Job summary

Panera Bread in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a Catering Lead to coordinate delicious, familiar catering orders for events, help guests plan their menus, and ensure timely, accurate delivery with warm, helpful service.

You will manage orders, support the team, uphold health and food-safety standards, and promote Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events while maintaining Panera’s high standards and friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice training (Food Handler’s Card).
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Self-starter who can meet goals with limited supervision.
• Own vehicle for delivering orders with acceptable driving record.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand/walk up to 3 hours.
• Clear communication in loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Provide warm, friendly service and proactive follow-ups to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with delivering orders to events.
• Adhere to health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera’s food quality standards.
• Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools and events.
• Support Managers and Team Members as needed.
