Job summary

Eurest, a division of Compass Group USA, currently seeks a Catering Captain for the Valvoline HQ location in Lexington, KY. The role requires coordinating catering staff, serving and delivering at functions, and ensuring service quality on site.

The position offers full-time hours (Mon-Thu, 6:00 am–3:00 pm) with a pay rate of $20.00–$21.00 per hour and training opportunities. A valid driver’s license and food handling permit may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of catering and marketing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered smoothly.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Determines workload from catering orders and discusses setup with function group leaders.
• Resolves issues and customer complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Ensures proper presentation, temperature, and portion control per recipes and standards.
