Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Catering Executive Chef II at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. You will lead culinary programs, spearhead menu development, and drive client satisfaction while managing budgets and staff training.

The role offers growth within a fast-paced dining program and requires strong leadership, culinary creativity, and experience in large-scale foodservice operations. On-site employment with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• A.S. degree or equivalent experience required.
• Three or more years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience required.
• Experience in high-volume, hands-on foodservice operations preferred.
• ServSafe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified menus according to guidelines and recipes.
• Maintain daily production worksheets and waste logs.
• Supervise and mentor chefs, cooks and team members in food prep and sanitation.
• Ensure culinary standards and food quality across operations.
• Lead inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Enforce health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Forecast food and labor costs and monitor financial results.
• Foster client relations and program alignment with client objectives.
