Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Assistant Catering Manager to support leadership and day-to-day catering solutions and events at the location. You will lead the catering team to execute events in line with customer expectations and service standards.

This role emphasizes client rapport, planning, and delivering high-quality foodservice experiences, with opportunities to train staff and manage events of varied size, while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience.
• Management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb.
• Able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs.
• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events.
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events crafted from banquet event orders.
• Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs.
• Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed.
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and ensure requests are met prior to event.
• Responsible for delivering food and labor targets.
• Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management.
• Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables.
• Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members.
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies.
