Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations, develop menus, and oversee catering events. Reporting to the Campus Executive Chef, you will focus on team development, culinary excellence, safety, and client relations, with flexibility for early shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will drive menu innovation, cost controls, and high-quality food experiences while maintaining adherence to company policies and budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-3 years of catering experience, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Requires 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage kitchen staff and supervise all culinary activities.
• Develop recipes and standardize production to ensure quality.
• Set up menus, pricing, and presentation standards.
• Ensure equipment operation, safety, and sanitation in kitchen.
• Oversee catering events and possibly demonstrate techniques.
• Analyze meals for food, labor, and overhead costs and price items.
