Job summary

Hilton Anchorage is seeking an experienced Director of Catering to lead our events team and drive revenue for our downtown hotel with 606 rooms and over 20,000 square feet of function space.

You will sell the public space, food and beverage, and event planning services, cultivate key client relationships, and develop marketing strategies to meet revenue goals while ensuring guest satisfaction and top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in hospitality, marketing, or related field.
• 2-3 years experience in catering, event planning, hospitality, or food service management.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale catering operations and teams.
• Experience in sales, marketing and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Sell the public space, food and beverage, and function planning services to maximize revenues.
• Maximize hotel revenues and profits through effective selling and planning.
• Solicit new and existing accounts via telephone, outside sales calls, and written communication.
