The Anchorage Hilton in Anchorage, AK seeks an experienced Director of Catering to lead sales and execution of all catering and event services. You will drive revenue by selling space, F&B, and planning services while managing client relationships with a focus on guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and marketing strategy development to grow high-profile events and ensure flawless execution with a professional catering team.

Qualifications

• Associates/bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or marketing.
• Extensive experience in catering, event planning, hospitality, or food service management (typically 2-3 years).
• Proven track record of managing large-scale catering operations and teams.
• Experience in sales, marketing, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Sell the public space, food and beverage, and function planning services to maximize revenues and profits for the hotel.
• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, and written communication.
