Meriwether Godsey in Potomac, MD is seeking an Account Manager to support a high-volume food service program, including special events and high-end catering at a prominent independent college preparatory day school.

You will coach staff, manage events from planning to execution, assist in menu development, supervise service delivery, uphold safety and quality standards, and cultivate strong client relationships across campus and off-site events.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree (Culinary Arts, Hospitality) or 5+ years related experience.
• FOH and catering experience required.
• ServSafe FPM Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of dining room operations and catering programs.
• Experience with online Food Management Systems preferred.
• K-12 or contract dining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices.
• Strong leadership and customer-service orientation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented, collaborative approach.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day coaching, support, training, and guidance to meet standards.
• Support booking, planning, execution, and communication for campus and off-campus events.
• Assist in menu planning for events to meet brand, standards, and budget.
• Supervise staff during events to ensure service quality.
• Monitor setup and maintenance of dining areas and stations.
• Assist leadership with supervising staff needs, purchasing, and inventory.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
• Foster an inclusive environment while maintaining client relations.
• Participate in personnel decisions including recruitment and hiring.
