Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Catering Director to oversee catering events, manage a team, and build strong client relations. You will ensure top-notch catering quality for guests and lead the intake of detailed menu development.

The role requires 5+ years in hospitality with management experience, especially in catering, plus expertise in menu costing, pricing, and staff supervision. This is a full-time position with benefits across the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts required.
• Experience in hospitality industry with management experience (preferably Catering Management).
• Experience with booking, menu costing, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees internal and external catering events.
• Develops and maintains the catering marketing plan including event planning and menu development.
• Hires, trains, and schedules catering staff and develops existing staff in-service techniques, menu presentation, policies and procedures.
• Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor and food cost control, transportation, setup, and cleanup.
