Canteen, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Catering Director to lead a premier catering program supporting two campus café locations. You will deliver exceptional catering experiences with a focus on executive-level events, collaborating with the Executive Chef and Chef Manager for flawless execution.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, you will also support daily campus café operations when catering activity is light, driving guest satisfaction and menu innovation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete catering process from initial inquiry through event execution, invoicing, and billing.

• Partner with the Executive Chef and Chef Manager to ensure exceptional food quality and seamless event execution.
• Oversee catering setup, presentation, and service standards, with a focus on executive and C-suite events.
• Develop innovative catering menus and seasonal offerings to enhance the guest experience.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and personalized service.
• Support café operations as needed to ensure overall operational success.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional catering experiences, with a strong emphasis on executive-level and C-suite events, while partnering closely with culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless execution. The Catering Director will collaborate with the Executive Chef and Chef Manager to plan and execute high-quality catering events and will report directly to the Food & Beverage Director. When catering activity is light, this position will support the daily operations of the campus cafés.
