The Catering Delivery Driver/Steward is an integral member of the catering team. This position will oversee and execute the pickup, drop off, and delivery of food, materials, and equipment necessary for events. Additionally, the Catering Delivery Driver/Steward will support the culinary and front of house teams in sanitation and operational capacities.
This position requires safely operating the catering box truck or other University vehicles in all weather conditions. A customer service focus, effective time management skills, and strong attention to detail with high accuracy are vital.

8th grade education and 3 years of driving experience with the ability to drive a box truck; equivalent education/experience considered. Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure is necessary. Flexibility, reliability, communication skills, and being a team player are essential. Accuracy and attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with a variety of individuals are required. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements, as well as the ability to pass a DMV check authorizing operation of university vehicles. A Food Handlers Permit or the ability to obtain one upon employment is required.
Experience driving a box truck, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of University operations are preferred.
