Job summary

Highway Inn in Waipahu is seeking dependable delivery drivers to shuttle a small NV200 van from 7:30 am to about 11:00 am–1:00 pm, with a daily 4:15 pm delivery to Ko'olina. Total hours 20–30 per week, split between two drivers.

Candidates must have a clean license, be punctual and able to lift up to 35 pounds; on-call work available; 1099 or W2 options; opportunities to move into restaurant roles and go full-time. Highway Inn values ohana and aloha.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of employment history.
• Clean driver's license for past 5 years, and pass a standard blood test.
• Mature, responsible, punctual, and responsive.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and load/unload safely.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive Waipahu daily 7:30 am to approximately 11:00 am–1:00 pm.
• Daily delivery leaving at 4:15 to Ko'olina area.
• Load and unload the van with staff assistance at every point.
• Total hours would be 20-30 hours a week, may be split between two drivers.
• On-call driving opportunities during the week.

Highway Inn in Waipahu is in its 80th year.

We require Drivers to drive from Waipahu daily from 7:30 am to approximately 11:00 am-1:00 pm. The vehicle is a small NV200 Nissan Van, so a regular driver's license will suffice. We also have a daily delivery leaving at 4:15 to the Ko'olina area. Responsibilities will also include loading and unloading the van, with staff assistance at every load and unload point. Total hours would be 20-30 hours a week which may be split between two drivers.

We also have many ad-hoc driving opportunities during the week for on-call work. You can be a 1099 or W2 employee.

The successful applicants will also have the opportunity to work in traditional restaurant jobs and have the opportunity to go full-time.
