Job Summary

We are seeking a Catering Delivery Driver at our South End location to assist our Catering Department with deliveries. Responsibilities include working with the Catering team to pack and deliver orders, primarily for corporate lunches and social gatherings. The role involves handling high volumes of food and beverages, interacting with clients, using loading docks, and making deliveries to other locations. This is a part-time position that also involves restaurant duties such as food running on expo, bussing tables, and interacting with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Catering Manager regarding delivery schedules
• Safely transport food and catering supplies to designated locations in a timely manner
• Verify orders against invoices prior to departure
• Greet clients professionally
• Represent the Salted Melon brand through appearance and behavior
• Maintain cleanliness of the company van
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and refuel as necessary
• Assist with expo tasks like running food, packing to-go orders, bussing tables, and organizing backstock when not delivering

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a company van
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
• Delivery driver experience preferred
• Strong hospitality and customer service skills
