Job Summary

We are seeking a Catering Delivery Driver for our South End location to assist our Catering Department with deliveries. In this position, you are responsible for working with the Catering team to pack and deliver orders. Most of our events are corporate lunches and social gatherings so you must be comfortable working with a high volume of food and beverage and interacting with our clients. Must be comfortable with using loading docks and dropping off orders at our other locations. This is a part-time role that will require assisting in the Catering Department and restaurant duties like food running on expo, bussing tables, and interacting with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Catering Manager for delivery and work schedule
• Safely transport food and catering supplies to designated locations, in a timely and safe manner
• Verify orders against invoices prior to departure
• Greet clients with professionalism
• Represent the Salted Melon brand through personal appearance and behavior
• Maintain company van's cleanliness inside and out
• Report maintenance needs and refuel van when needed
• Assist with expo tasks like running food, packing to-go orders, bussing tables, and organizing backstock when there are no delivery orders

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a company van
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 30-50lbs
• Delivery driver experience is preferred
• Strong hospitality/customer service skills
