Job summary

Chick-fil-A Austell is seeking motivated delivery drivers to serve guests with hospitality, either part-time or full-time. A valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required, along with a clean driving record and 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities include safe driving, delivering orders, handling transactions via the delivery app, and maintaining vehicle presentation. The role offers flexible hours, Sundays off, and opportunities to grow with a top-tier brand.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the premises.
• Follow safe driving procedures and delivery app guidelines.
• Manage transactions and cash as needed.
• Deliver to guests via Delivery/Off-Site and during in-store shifts.
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized; ensure correct packaging and weight.

Job description

Delivery drivers are generally offered as part time or full time (scheduled), with the driver keeping 100% of his or her tips. You must have a reliable vehicle, Valid Driver's License, Proof of Insurance and be 18 years of age. This is not a contract position, you will be a member for the Chick-fil-A family and will be expected to uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care.

The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue meet our guest's expectations outside of the restaurant.

Experience:

• driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• delivery: 1 year (Preferred)
• delivery driver: 1 year (Preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Requirements:

• Minimum age - 18 years old,
• Must have a valid State-Issued Driver's License
• Must own reliable transportation that is CLEAN (Car Insurance a MUST!)
• Clean driving record for the past 2 years
• Reliable communication (must be a smart phone to download delivery app)
• Cannot have a current/within the last year License suspension
• Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
• Work in store when there are no deliveries

Main responsibilities:

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
• Following safe driving procedures
• Managing transactions using Delivery App
• Manage catering operations at Off-site locations
• Managing Cash
• Serving guests via Delivery/ Off-Site
• Keeping your delivery vehicle clean and organized
• Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport
• Read, understand and comply with all parts of the Team Member Handbook
• Deliver portions that are correct and meet all weight and presentation expectations.
• Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation and quality is top level.
• Show up on time, have a great attitude and work hard for your entire shift.
