Job summary

Chick-fil-A Matteson is seeking a Catering Coordinator who is self-driven, highly organized, and dedicated to growing catering sales while delivering outstanding hospitality. You will work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, partner with Sales and Brand Growth Director to develop new catering opportunities, prepare orders for in-store and catering events, and ensure quality and smooth operations.

This full-time role offers benefits, training, and growth opportunities, with weekend Sundays off

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service management.
• Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving sales goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in technology and software related to catering and sales management.
• Have an open work availability.
• Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Overview:

The Catering Coordinator at Chick-fil-A Matteson is an excellent opportunity for personal growth and development in business acumen. He/she must be a self-driven individual, yet willing to serve others through their influence. The person must be highly organized and be responsible for growing catering sales for the organization, including processing, packaging and delivering orders to customers. He/she will also be responsible for interfacing with other team members in the organization, influence actions of the team, and the overall reputation of the brand. We are recruiting for an operationally hands-on, results-oriented individual who desires to advance in the organization.

Position Key Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to work with the Sales and Brand Growth Director on developing new catering opportunities.
• Must be willing to be hands-on in an operational role, serving side by side with other team members and leaders.

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Model and support clear communications between the front and kitchen staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items, and stays well-informed of current promotions.
• Practices sanitation and safety procedures.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with Senior Leadership /Operator to fulfill business needs.
