Job Description: Catering Cook at Boise State

Location: Boise State, 1910 W University Drive, Boise, ID 83725

Position: Full-time Catering Cook (Immediate hiring)

Schedule: Event-driven shifts; more details provided during interview

Requirements: Prior kitchen experience necessary

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet schedules.
  2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  3. Use established ticket procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling protocols.
  5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
  6. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  7. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  8. Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
  9. Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
  10. Follow safety standards, including HACCP compliance and proper use of protective equipment.
