Job summary

Bon Appetit at Emory University in Atlanta, GA is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Catering Captain positions. Location: Emory University – 569 Asbury Circle, Atlanta, GA 30322. Open availability and willingness to train are valued.

Pay range: $20.25–$21.38 per hour. Job summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules, prepares and serves food at scheduled functions, and may drive a truck to deliver to sites.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules and ensures functions are delivered, served and cleared on time.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Instructs staff on work expectations and helps set up rooms to desired specifications.
