• We are hiring immediately for full-time CATERING CAPTAIN positions.

Job Summary

Summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of functions. Prepares and serves food under supervision. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Determine workload from catering orders.
• Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup; address last-minute changes.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints.
• Understand menu items thoroughly.
• Instruct staff on work expectations.
• Help set up rooms.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Return equipment and utensils.
• Maintain presentation, portion control, and temperature standards following HACCP.
• Keep equipment and supplies clean and organized.
• Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit if required by law.
