Job summary

Friendsview Retirement Community in Newberg, OR is seeking a part-time Catering Captain to lead catering events, serve guests, and ensure smooth operations.

You will set up events, train teammates, operate the POS, and uphold food safety and presentation standards while building leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of catering, restaurant, or dining experience.
• Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Job description

Pay: $18.25–$19.62/hour
Schedule: Part-Time, Variable Hours (Monday–Saturday)
Required Availability: Tuesdays and weekends

What You Bring

• 1+ year of catering, restaurant, or dining experience.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A positive, team-first attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry event supplies.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and good driving record.

Employment Requirements

• DHS background check (and fingerprinting if required).
• Employment eligibility documentation (W-4/I-9).
