Catering Bartender - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour + tips.

Schedule: Part-time, event-based schedule. Open availability preferred. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a similar setting, possess an outgoing personality, and be able to interact professionally with high-profile guests while providing excellent service. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make decisions independently are essential.

Job Summary

Summary: The Catering Bartender is responsible for providing excellent communication and cocktail service to guests. Duties include greeting customers, answering questions, recommending menu items, and maintaining a clean bar area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to liquor laws and regulations regarding the service of alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Verify and count the bar stock.
• Set up and stock the bar with all necessary supplies.
• Maintain and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders, prepare and garnish drinks, and practice portion control.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Recognize and respond to guest intoxication appropriately.
• Document incidents where service is denied.
• Perform cleaning and organizational tasks to meet health standards.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
