Job Summary

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Adheres to liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
2. Sets up assigned bars; stocks all necessary supplies including beer, wine, spirits, glassware, and garnishes.
3. Maintains stock and quality of perishables like fruits and juices.
4. Greets guests courteously.
5. Processes drink orders, mixes and garnishes drinks, practicing portion control.
6. Checks guests for proper identification.
7. Detects and acts upon guest inebriation, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
8. Handles cash transactions accurately and verifies charges.
9. Secures all beverage and food products, equipment, and cash.
10. Performs cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards.
11. Maintains an attractive display of bottles and glasses.
12. Washes and sterilizes stemware.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
