Job Summary

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Adheres to liquor laws regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
2. Sets up bars; stocks beer, wine, spirits, supplies, garnishes, and glassware.
3. Maintains stock and freshness of garnishes, juices, and perishables.
4. Greets guests courteously.
5. Takes and processes drink orders; mixes and garnishes drinks; practices portion control.
6. Checks IDs for guests at the bar.
7. Detects guest intoxication and acts appropriately.
8. Handles cash, verifies charges, and records transactions.
9. Secures beverage and cash items.
10. Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
11. Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
12. Washes and sterilizes stemware.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
