Job Overview

Castle Hill Inn, a Relais & Chateaux hotel located in Newport, RI, is hiring a Catering Bartender. The role involves mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during banquet events at the 40-acre resort overlooking Narragansett Bay.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests
• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Serve wine and draught or bottled beer
• Assist with orders or requisitions for liquors and supplies
• Serve food and non-alcoholic/alcoholic beverages to customers
• Set up and break down banquet bars

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule: work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar role

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to creating an equitable workplace and respectful working relationships
