Position

Part‑time Catering Attendant – University of Houston Athletics, 4455 University Dr, Houston, TX 77204. Immediate hire. Online applications only.

Schedule

Game day shifts variably scheduled based on the game start time. Details will be provided during interview.

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves, cleans events, and ensures timely return of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies to scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables, decorations, and buffet stations according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests and provide friendly service.
• Thoroughly clean location after event and maintain a safe work environment.
• Return food, beverages, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Collect and distribute customer comment cards.
• Stock, clean, and maintain catering facility and equipment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
• Prior catering experience preferred.
