Location: University of Texas at Arlington

• We are hiring immediately for part-time CATERING ATTENDANT positions.
• Address: University of Texas at Arlington - 300 West First Street, Arlington, TX 76019. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior catering experience is preferred but not required.
• Perks: Willing to train! Free food!
• Pay Range: $8.00 to $8.50 per hour

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. May drive a catering truck. Sets up and cleans event areas, returns leftover food and equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies.
2. Logs food temperatures.
3. Prepares tables and decorations.
4. Serves food and beverages.
5. Cleans location post-event.
6. Returns equipment and food.
7. Distributes comment cards.
8. Maintains catering facilities and equipment.
9. Provides courteous service.
10. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
11. Ensures safety and sanitation.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit if required by law.
