Eurest Catering Attendant Job Description

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Catering Attendant position at Eurest, located at Regeneron Tarrytown, 777 Old Saw Mill River Road, Tarrytown, NY 10591. Online applications are accepted only.

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions, cleans the event area, and returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans the location after events.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Maintains catering facility and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service to guests.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
