We are hiring immediately for a full-time CATERING ATTENDANT position.

Location: BNY Mellon - 500 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with occasional evening shifts. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Catering and setup knowledge required. Excellent customer service skills. Willing to train.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures accurate execution of all events. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event areas; returns leftovers and equipment to the catering facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans location after events.
• Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Provides friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required; must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by law.
