We are hiring immediately for a full time CATERING ATTENDANT position.

Location: Northrop Grumman Melbourne - 2000 West Nasa Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32904. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, hours vary; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous high-volume catering experience required.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive delivery truck. Sets up, serves, cleans, and returns leftover food and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Prepares tables and decorations.
• Sets up buffet tables according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages.
• Cleans location after events.
• Returns equipment and leftover food.
• Distributes and collects comment cards.
• Maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Provides friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
