Job Summary

This is a seasonal, event-based role from April to September.

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans after events; breaks down setup; returns leftover food and equipment promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location after events.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Stocks and maintains catering facilities and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by law.
