Job Summary:

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during the shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breaks down setup and leaves the area neat and clean; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Thoroughly cleans the location after the event.
7. Returns food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
9. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment.
10. Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains in-depth knowledge of the menu and products on hand.
12. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
