Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Catering Attendant for Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE. The role oversees catering functions to ensure events run smoothly and guests are satisfied.

Responsibilities include maintaining banquet equipment, following BEOs, and upholding department standards. Candidates should be 19+ with food handling and alcohol server permits, and be available for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of service experience in a restaurant, catering facility or club environment preferred.
• Must be at least 19 years of age
• Maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits required by health department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining, organizing and cleaning banquet equipment.
• Ensure signage is properly displayed for each event.
• Fulfill service per Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and department standards.
• Adhere to dress code: black pants and non-slip shoes.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION: Catering Attendant
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Catering & Premium Services Manager
FLSA STATUS: PT Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the General Manager for Legends Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Catering Attendant oversees all catering functions to ensure that the assigned events and activities are organized and executed resulting in the complete satisfaction of the guests attending the event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in maintaining, organizing and cleaning all banquet equipment.
• Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service.
• Ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event
• Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO), as well as Catering Department Service Standards.
• Must adhere to the SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as well as spur of the moment events.

• Able to be creative with buffet presentations and maintain a quality product.
• Maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits required by Department of Health.

• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on season
