Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking part-time Catering Attendants to join our team at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The role focuses on stocking, serving, and attending to guests’ needs in luxury suites during events.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare suite and ensure all items are in place for guest arrival, including items ordered in advance of the event.
• Anticipate guests' needs and suggest additional items such as appetizers and desserts; communicate in-suite orders to kitchen and bar staff.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, including checking IDs before serving alcohol.
• Maintain suite orderliness and cleanliness throughout the event.
• Obtain signatures from the suite host on any charges.

More about you

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment required
• Previous experience as suite runner preferred

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
• Exposure to variable temperatures
• May be required to work in narrow spaces
