Job summary

Salata Salad Kitchen is opening locations in Charlotte and seeks a dynamic Catering Assistant to support the Catering Sales Manager and stores in delivering high-quality catering events. The role involves coordinating orders, ensuring accuracy, and delivering with service excellence across upcoming Charlotte venues.

The position offers base pay with tip share, free meals, uniforms, and health insurance with PTO for full-time employees, plus growth opportunities as Salata expands in the Charlotte

Qualifications

• Must work under pressure with a positive, welcoming attitude.
• Access to a vehicle with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40 lbs.
• Restaurant, catering, and delivery experience preferred.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Catering Sales Manager (CSM) and General Manager to execute all catering orders.
• Take pride and ownership in all catering orders.
• Ensure orders are sent out correctly, efficiently and accurately.
• Engage with clients by delivering quality service and products on time.
• Report to work on time in clean, professional attire.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations for catering events.
• Build out catering orders, check for accuracy, deliver and set up within 30 minutes.
• Provide support to multiple locations as needed.

Salata Salad Kitchen is a Houston based, established fast-casual salad kitchen opening several locations in Charlotte. We currently have two locations, Uptown and Rea Farms, and future growth is in the immediate plans! We are seeking a dynamic and confident Catering Assistant who can help the Catering Sales Manager (CSM) build sales and work with the stores to coordinate excellent quality and service.

• Adheres to all health and safety regulations pertinent to catering events.
• Build out the catering order(s), check order for accuracy before leaving the store, deliver & set up catering order(s) for guests within the 30 minute delivery time window.

The Catering Assistant will provide support to multiple locations depending on the business needs for the day, as determined by the CSM. When catering business does not require support, the Catering Assistant may be called upon to provide support for the restaurant operations as needed. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor as we build the Salata brand in the Charlotte metro area; we are expanding and advancement is likely for the right person!
